John Langdon - Born in Philadelphia in 1946, John holds a B.A. in English from Dickinson College. A self-taught designer and lettering artist, John has freelanced since 1977. He teaches typography and corporate identity design at Drexel University. John's work has received many awards and Wordplay, his book about his specialty, "ambigrams," was published in 1992. Several of his articles have appeared in Critique magazine. He is a member of the Type Directors Club, Society of Scribes, and Art Directors Club of Philadelphia.
